But what kind of writing do I do? For my essays, I’m most interested in technology and society. Common topics, but I hope you’ll be stimulated by my ideas. I’m also interested in world politics, as much as I can understand them. I’m not an insider, I’m not much of anyone, just a person who wants to share their writing with the world. I will periodically write about Christianity and Catholicism. I am a Christian, and my faith is Catholic, but I’m not an exemplar in either. Oil is also very interesting to me, tying back into geopolitics. Alongside technology it’s really the primary driving force of our times. Finally, I once planned on becoming a famous director, actor, writer type, back when that archetype still existed. Hollywood’s long slow death was a death for me also in a way, so I’ll be writing about it, and about all of my theories about media that I’ve pondered with my Bachelor’s in Film/Video Production for far too long.
I will be producing a new literary product I call Fragments. Fragments synthesize literary fiction with the possibilities of HTML and hyperlinking. Stay tuned.
I also write what I call Shards. These are stream-of-consciousness, numbered only. They are not for everyone, although they mean a lot to me. I hope you’ll find something in them that speaks to you.
After long and careful consideration I have decided to write anonymously, under the pseudonym Flavius Gaius. I have a lot of reasons behind my choice to stay anonymous. Perhaps I'll write an essay explaining my thought process regarding this topic in full.
